Chalyce grew up in the California Bay Area. She is the oldest of six children and loved helping to take care of her younger siblings. Chalyce enjoyed playing soccer and softball while growing up. She shares a special bond with her siblings that includes sports (most are Oakland A's fans like her, a couple are San Francisco Giant's fans, but all are 49ers and Golden State Warriors fans), music, and comic book heroes.
Chalyce graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology Composite Teaching, with an emphasis in Zoology. She also received her Master's degree in Education. Chalyce served a mission for our church in Sweden. She loved serving the people in the area.
Chalyce has been a 5th grade elementary school teacher for 12 years. She puts in so much time and effort in helping her students learn and grow. Chalyce is not only concerned with her student's education but in their overall well-being as a person and how they will progress throughout their life. She is always thinking of different ways she can influence her students for good.
Chalyce started a dance club 7 years ago for students in grades 4th through 6th. The dance club has been very successful as they have performed many times for the school and for the district. The kids in the dance club have a special relationship with Chalyce. She is not only viewed as their teacher, but also someone that they look up to as a friend, mentor, and leader.
Chalyce loves spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loves being a mother and enjoys snuggling, playing, and taking care of our little baby boy and looks forward to taking care of future children.
